Isn't there a better way?

In 2022, over 95% of all damage reports in Europe are created by using PDF forms and sent to wagon keepers by email or fax. Vehicle data is written on pieces of paper and then transferred to Excel-based wagon lists.


The founders of RailAppSolutions thought that this could be done better in times of digitalisation and developed the apps TrainChecker and WDRflyer. Both apps significantly simplify data collection on the track and enable real-time transmission of data to third parties. The apps are completely independent of in-house IT systems and technologies and are therefore suitable for both small and large railway undertakings.


Who we are

RailAppSolutions was founded at the beginning of 2020. The two owners have many years of experience in rail freight transport and the development of software solutions, especially apps for Android and iOS. The WDRflyer was the company's first service and was designed as a simple and efficient solution for reporting damaged wagons. The success of the app encouraged the founders to develop the second app, the TrainChecker. The app enables the creation of wagon lists in the new European TAF TSI standard format. The aim of RailAppSolutions is to provide standardised solutions that can be used by many companies. This reduces costs, establishes standards and makes processes simpler and more transparent: Simply Better!
